Promotional Video clip w/525EFI Merc motor
The Fearless 28 is a custom designed powerboat styled by Porsche Design. The Fearless 28 is powered by a 550 horsepower V10 taken from the Dodge Viper and equipped for marine use. The Fearless 28 by Porsche Design has seating for five passengers in complete luxury while also providing the driver with a focused environment for high speed boating. The construction of the Fearless 28 revolves around the seamless carbon-fibre reinforced fiberglass deep-V hull finished in stunning silver. The design of the upper deck echoes that of the legendary Porsche sports cars including the 911 and also the Porsche Carrera GT. In the cockpit and cabin the Fearless 28 has a high-end stereo system comprising of an XM satellite radio, AM/FM radio, CD, DVD player and an i-Pod docking station. The top speed of the Fearless 28 by Porsche Design is 80+ mph, and at a 40mph cruising speed it has a 164 mile range. The Fearless 28 is the first in a range of yachts styled by Porsche Design for Fearless. The lineup will eventually include 44, 68, 125 and 150 foot versions. I hadn't read about Fearless powerboats and search didn't pull anything on them. Looks like they were in Powerboat July '07 At $330K the 28' may not take off, but hey folks routinely spend $500K on their Carrera GT road vehicles :evilb: Couple articles mention the 525Merc EFI in the 28' Is the V10 an ILMOR engine? Looks like the 44' will debut at the Miami '08 show  That machine looks badA$$ and I'm sure the price will be as well  :D Lots of links and info here Fearless Yachts website ^ ^ ^ |
Porsche designed it and Donzi built it.
Hows the stock look?
Donzi made ... hmmm maybe can see the Donzi influence :)
Saw it at the Sarasota poker run earlier this year. It sure looked sweet idling around the Hyatt docks.
Reminds me of an adrenaline and so does the price
Come on now, that fancy fiberglass work has got to be worth atleast 150K more than your standard powerboat :Whatever: |

HA HA! Funny story... On Saturday morning (9/22) I drove my Cig to Carlos'N Charlies to pick up some Claymates. As I neared the courtesy slips, I saw the Fearless boat parked in one.
The courtesy slips are large enough for two boats. The spot next to the Fearless boat was open, and I smiled. I knew that the owners would be looking at any boat that tried to park next to them. So, here comes a loud 31-foot Cigarette boat. I expertly back into the slip and tie off the boat. I looked up to see relieved and smiling faces. Needless to say, I met them and had a drink. My Claymates arrived and we went to party cove! :D |
boat is definately sweet...but the $$ is unjustifiable
Scuttlebut has it the boat is targeted at megayacht owners in need of a fancy tender. Hence the ridiculous price tag.

ah....don't you mean this one...:boat: http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o18536-en.html |
What does the design of the hull look like? Steps, pad, traditonal V? What is weird to me is Porsche desgined it but put a Dodge motor in it. I wonder how the Cayenne TurboS V8 would work in it?
Sure looks like an Alpha Z to me,and Porsche didn't design that. I think Brownie did. Whatever happened to the Alpha Z?
I believe this boat was done by the Porsche design studio in Los Angeles, which is a licensee, not the Porsche design studio in Germany. Could be a major difference.
The are a long way from this I'm sure.......totally different boat (yacht) building!!!!

it doesent do much for me, the island looked cool in the vid though:D
I saw the boat in person and running around in Miami. It looks pretty cool running along, but the price tag is over the top.
