soft sided tool kit
#12
I bought a kit from Target several years ago, and it has held up surprisingly well. It is a hard sided flip open case though. I also keep a small Craftsman socket kit on board big enough to remove prop nuts. I think its about 10 pieces.

For over 30 years I have used EMT bags and they work great
and when I travel they go right with me, Its harder with all
the new rules and they can get very heavy.
I did a lot of work for the Navy any hauled them every place.
They are heavy canvas with a lot of pockets, I still use the
first on I bought, Its a little dirty but no rips or holes.
The people with the Hi-Price boats really like to see tool bags
that wont scratch the Gel-Coat.

I carry a soft tool case from Sears in the boat. Folds in half and zips closed. About the size of a bible. (Or so I'm told. ) Downside is the sockets always come out of the elastic straps that hold them in their locations. Unzip it, open it, they all fall out. The OSO bag looks great, but where do the sockets go?
