TLC Network Aero Marine and West Coast Customs: Press Release
Aero Marine Fabricates Acrylic Roof Panel for “Street Customs” on the TLC Network
La Verne, Calif. October, 11, 2007 – Aero Marine the leading Powerboating acrylic windshield fabricator is working with West Coast Customs’ and their new TURBO series show “Street Customs” on the TLC network. Aero Marine fabricated an acrylic roof panel for the “Royal Rover” episode that is scheduled to air October 18, 2007 on the TLC network at 10:00 PM PST.
Aero Marine fabricated an acrylic roof panel for a modified Land Rover that was built by West Coast Customs for their new TLC network TURBO Series “Street Customs”. This was a special-one off prototype car that was built by the Land Rover engineers and West Coast Customs was asked to recreate the vehicle with their unique “WCC cutting-edge style,” which has now been titled the “Royal Rover”.
"One of the biggest challenges of this build was the clear roof panel. Aero Marine was able to build exactly what I needed and turned a big headache into the smoothest part of the build. The piece is perfect and no one could have done it better than the people at Aero Marine!!!" said Sean Mahaney, West Coast Custom’s Lead Fabricator.
“In the Powerboating industry we are used to seeing concepts/renderings and then bring the vision to life and the “Royal Rover” was no different. This was a challenging project for our team, but working with West Coast Customs crew pushed us forward with new tooling concepts to make this acrylic roof panel happen,” said Carmen Bélanger-Martin, General Manager of Aero Marine.
