"A trailerable go-fast cruiser?"
Did you want photon torpedos and a cloaking device too? What about a flux-capacitor or solar power? :D :D |
The boat I have for sale in the classifieds has been described exactly as that before.... Check it out....
PM me if you would like more info or pics... 34' mid cabin big beam (9'6") twin BBC's runs 60+ mph trailerable.... and only 157 hours! http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o18669-en.html |

Fountain made a 32' sportfish cruiser with I/O's. The later models had twin 502's.
Great boat, I have a '96 with stock 454's and could see low 60's but usually run 35-45. 8 1/2 beam, 8700 lbs dry. Cuddy has enough room for two to sleep , enclosed stand up head with holding tank. Hold about 220 gal gas. Looks a lot like the newer sport fish models. ed Oh yea, mines for sale with trailer and spare set of Bravo drives. Enlagre tho photo to straighten out the stripes. |
How about a 33at w/ 496s and setup w/ flybridge and aft cabin over the engines?
something along the lines of this(35ft w/ a platform) :D http://www.silverton.com/images/model/35MY/35MYHead.jpg |

The 335 Baja is a nice boat.
My friend has a 38' Wellcraft Excalibur (built by Riviera) that is an awesome fast cruiser. 10ft beam I believe, but it runs over 60 w/ 502 mags, 2 berth, stand up cabin, full head, huge cockpit w/ wet bar, A/C and generator. |

Saw a 335 this weekend - looks a little tight inside, though. I was told that they really have to pull A LOT of options off of the 335 to get it in under $200k (like HOs, windlass, etc.).
Look at a 405 - Fast Boats has a new one for sale. Haven't seen any used ones, though. 9' 6" beam (you can't tell it's that wide), 12,000 lbs., plenty of amenities, runs about 63-ish. I stay on mine 3 nights at a time and don't feel cramped at all. It's not going to be near $200k, though, but well worth it. |
