Powerquest 380. A bigger version of Macklins old boat.
Donzi 38ZX - but it may be too big & heavy to trailer.

CHeck out Monterey Boats. They look great and would fit the bill. The Sport Yachts are a little wide but their SS line has a 318 that your father may find interesting. Good Luck.
