i'd go 8 or 9 hundred ...tops..but start lower , say 600.00 and shoot for 750.00 that pic of the merlin head shows no sign of oil to me (never ran) may be new??

but that's just my opinion.

so there may be be your biggest value..

blocks ,who knows what you really have in their.

intakes you may get 100.00 ..

old M/T valve covers could make a few $$$ along with the rest you could put on ebay..the trs stuff would sell but don't expect to make a fortune....

I know what you're saying, but there is nothing there you can use without sinking some serious machine shop money into. You must not overpay in case something you really want turns out to be junk once it's disassembled. Go into this transaction with the mind-set that that you can always break even if the Merlin head engine is junk. If it isn't, it's a score!

I agree with the last post. If somebody else out-bids you, it was fate.

There are 2 complete engines with melin heads, they are matching engines, they have no rust inside at all, they were inside until a month ago.

A grand for everything...because it's an unknown, could all be trash, engines could have been built by a monster truck mechanic.

Make him agree to refund some money if the engines have fatal flaws, ie cracks, bent cranks etc.

( I told World Products I'd get even with their ass for f*cking me on a set of heads!)

If your time was worth absolutely nothing, that stuff might be worth a grand-if you're lucky. It's an optimist's (or fool's) dream come true. For everyone else, it's a rusty time-sponge.
