Boat Price ???
Where is the best place to look for boat prices. Kinda like for my truck I use NADA.com. There site is kinda weak for boat use. Any ideas?

NADA is only really useful for banks in establishing loan values. Even then, it's usually way off- one way or the other. Prices on used boats is so relative to equipment, condition and market conditions that it would be virtually impossible to gather all that into a book.
What exactly are you attempting to find out? |
Price for a 2006 23ft Stingray 496 Bravo 1 looks very clean. Boat and Trailor.

I'm assuming this is a boat you're considering buying and you want to know if the price is right? Your best bet is a good, local, INSURED surveyor that comes with solid references. Not only can they clue you in to true values, they can also find all the things that reduce that boat's value- BEFORE you overpay. You'll also get a good idea from responses on here. That's a fairly new boat. I'd be calling Stingray dealers and asking for quotes on new one's. Then go from there. |
surveyors also use NADA and BUC..the fastec i just sold surveyed for over $125k with a trailer and i sold it in the $70's.

NADA is about worthless for boats. It is accurate to about 50% either way compared to average market value.

We always used BUC. I think it is much more accurate than NADA

Thanks Guys
