Default Boat Price ???

Where is the best place to look for boat prices. Kinda like for my truck I use NADA.com. There site is kinda weak for boat use. Any ideas?

NADA is only really useful for banks in establishing loan values. Even then, it's usually way off- one way or the other. Prices on used boats is so relative to equipment, condition and market conditions that it would be virtually impossible to gather all that into a book.

What exactly are you attempting to find out?

Price for a 2006 23ft Stingray 496 Bravo 1 looks very clean. Boat and Trailor.

I'm assuming this is a boat you're considering buying and you want to know if the price is right?

Your best bet is a good, local, INSURED surveyor that comes with solid references. Not only can they clue you in to true values, they can also find all the things that reduce that boat's value- BEFORE you overpay.

You'll also get a good idea from responses on here.

That's a fairly new boat. I'd be calling Stingray dealers and asking for quotes on new one's. Then go from there.

NADA is about worthless for boats. It is accurate to about 50% either way compared to average market value.

We always used BUC. I think it is much more accurate than NADA
