If its in FL I am not surprised, hell your boat probably isn't even there, its bringing Cubans in as you type. Go back tot he marina and they will probably deny you ever even had a boat there. I don't trust any business or marina here in FL, their all out to scam, Steal, and cheat to make an extra $.10 cents.

My Uncle was a big fan of FL bashing until he had his 3mm house remodelled in Mass. The contractor stole stuff out of the garage/basement, used inferior materials and finished about 3/4 of the job. I asked him, Where did you hire this guy, Florida? His response was that he was a local guy with 30 years in business. So I guess all the bad guys are not in FL then huh!
Scumbags are everywhere but remember Florida is a sunny place for shady people.

You are right, their is scum everywhere, However we really did have a S.FL Marina here where they claimed my friend took his boat out and signed for it?? This was when we went to take the boat out, we were like dude here is the owner, they were then like (we forget english,?? What boat??), he pulled out their yearly contract. Needless to say two days later a Marina in the Bahamas called wanting his boat removed that it was leaking oil in the water and had been abandonded. Best we could tell they broke one drive overloading the boat, seriously looked like 50 different shoe/foot prints on board. Needless to say he doesn't use them any more. I sincerely don't think that would happen in VA or NC, were I am from.
