Thanks His number is 705 321 8783. Bob |
I've heard only 7 of them were ever made...is this true?
I've seen Seek and Destroy at home this summer, it rides beautifully for such a big boat |
I've also seen Seek and Destroy, really nice looking boat.
|
thanks Bob

They are huge! I remember seeing one in St Clair 2000 sitting in the water at a restaurant.

As Joker said, they are absolutely huge. Great party boat.:D Bob |
Iceman, now seating numbers 11 thru 13. Please move to the back of the bus. :)
Seek and Destroy is the cut down poker run version. 6 seats and not much else. I ran with the owner in some pretty snotty water at 120 and it was smooth as glass. HUGE is an understatement. |

Any other info would be helpful |
The boat was here for a year. It was abslutely like new. I would call Howard at Firestorm for the most complete info on the boat.

Wasn't that Randy Linbach's company, he was killed several years ago in a testing accident. I believe it was copied from a Skater.
|
yeah it was Linebachs company. i think he was racing one and was out testing and something happened. to the least of my knowledge, i think it mightve been a Skater splash.
|
Randy was testing a MTI. My brother looked at the crashed boat for me I was thinking about converting it to a poker run. The little cats in Disney down in Fla. that you can rent are design Randy's also.

Talked with the driver afterwards and he said the 1200's had yet to be dialed in! |
Iceman belongs 2 a buddy of mine in MI here. Has 1075's now. 1 huge MoFo boat! Just eats up the water. I think U could put 25 party folks in the pit!!!

Airborne was a big and good looking boat when I first saw it at the St. Clair River Race tied up at Peppers. I heard that they were great riding and had all the comforts your family would need in a Performance boat but not the fastest. Unfortunately Randy Linebach lost his life in a boating accident while testing in Biloxi. He had the vision and knowledge to create a big and beautiful performance cat. Who knows where he would of taken it? If you don't need to be the fastest and want the comforts of a big boat this is it. Randy Linebach, boat builder and racer. R.I.P. Your Memory Still lives on, forever.

Is there any interest / market for these ?? I may be taking a 2004 50' w fresh Merc 900 SC's in on trade ?!?!
|
A 50' cat is a lot to handle logistically. Above average joes in the used market will prefer 40' and under, usually vees. Depreciation is probably steeper on the huge dream boats.
