That's a funny one. You bring your new 46 with 1350's and I will bring my 40 with less power and we will see whos is the "pig".

spoke to 1 guy who has one and 1 who had one and sold it, they told me the bottom design on the 40's were'nt good, and have been changed, one had the 1150 sterlings and only saw 125mph, that is weak, what has been your experience with the 40, info was just what I was told by owners, rode in August's old skater with merc 1,000's it saw 120.

Those numbers have to be wrong. Either the boats weren't set up right or the drivers couldnt run the boats. I've been in a 40 skater with 1100 cobras and saw 142 without the sticks all the way forward, and it was running nice.

big yellow cat confirmed the 125mph in Dave's old 40 with 1150 sterlings with Dave on the sticks and stuck to the dash, ex Skater employee said the bottom on the old 40's was just not efficient, not many out there and it had to be redesigned. It now is a fast hull .

Big yelo cat should stick to building two speed tranys
and huge intercoolers.
