Looks good for fishing boats. They are heavy, but looks to be really promising.

diesel outboards are nothing new.....evinrude, yanmar, BRP and i'm sure others have been making them for some time....not huge HP motors but they have been around....hell check out the evinrude 55hp multifuel motors for the military:

Whats cool is the HP that these guys are now starting to get out of the technology....300hp diesel outboard! thats cool :)

i like this evinrude 55hp multifuel jet drive outboard....runs on almost anything combustable!
