Not leavin for Lauderdale until next week so I'm gonna be missing out on the boat show :( If anyone can, get some pics of the new 2008 Fountain 32 Lightining if they bring it :drink:

I was there yesterday, I only took a couple of pics, Cig had a great display in the water with some big power, couple OL, Nortech had some nice muscle there, but the nicest boat I saw was the new Eliminator 36 canopy with the canopy removed. I did notice the power of choice seemed to be the 700 w/ NXT drives

Impressed with the Eliminators,Spectre fishboats and Intrepids.
There was a single I/O silver "pintail" type hull go-fast under the tent at the convention center that was impressive but no one around or literature on Thursday.
Otherwise everything else was the same as last year except in DIFFERENT COLORS!!:cool::D:D
But still a GREAT show and location. but..THE RAIN SUCKED on Friday!!!!

I'm heading out to the boatshow tommorow so I'll snap some pictures and post them up.

Best boat in the show was the Eliminator 36 Cat with 700's. Quite possibly the finest finished boat every, at least from what I have seen. I will post some pics tomorrow.

That was the fearless. Desiigned by Porche, built by donzi I believe. There is a thread on here about it. If you like that, check out the Alpha Z at Las Olas. Much cooler.


Overall, there isnt much at the show, and I am kind of dissapointed by it. The big OL display is across the street from bahia mar.

Yea that rain on Friday was coming down. I got lucky and when it started we ducked into one of Fastboats.com booths and to my surprise there was enough beer in there to drink untill the rain stopped.

Agreed that Eliminator was very nice. I got to tell ya I was a bit disapointed coming all the way from Cali. to check the Lauderdale show. It's got nothing on the Miami show unless maybe your looking for 100 FT plus yachts. If it wasn't for Nor-Tech, Cig, Sunsation, Intrepid, Donzi and a few others it would of been a let down. I went there to buy a new CC, Cigs Top fish, Intrepids 37, Donzis new 38 ZFO and that 36 Deep Impact were nice. Intrepid was coming home, untill I found out it was going to be a least a year before I could have one. But I guess when you got the reputation of being the Skater of CCs it takes that long. For Fountain to clame there 38 open or 38 tournament addition is the king, then not to have either at least from what I saw, was a huge let down. I was not impressed with what they had there at all.

The question is, is the Top fish Cig worth the money????????? That's a nice hot rod CC.
