O.K. I'm sure you know, but if you don't keep in mind that five blade hydro's are not equal to the same pitch as a merc four. I mean, don't go buy a 30' five blade and wonder why you can't turn it. I'm sure know this, just trying to help. I learnt all this, this summer, and don't want to see anyone else buy a prop they don't need.

I have already taken the internals into consideration before doing what we did. We have this pushed to the point where I feel comfy. I wouldnt go futher with boost than this on the stock internals (5-6psi) even though I had a larger heat exchanger made & we are cooling the oil thru an aux unit as well. Blower shop on most basic carbed applications Procharger for most of the SBC mpi mags & BBC mpi mags Whipple for the 496 applications & some mpi mags Whipple for upgrading blue motors.. We do on occasion do some other units, but again that's just my common preferences.. :) Jamie / Lakeside . |
