O.K. I'm sure you know, but if you don't keep in mind that five blade hydro's are not equal to the same pitch as a merc four. I mean, don't go buy a 30' five blade and wonder why you can't turn it. I'm sure know this, just trying to help. I learnt all this, this summer, and don't want to see anyone else buy a prop they don't need.

Yes you are correct & I am aware of that.. I have propped numerous boats in the past. The reason I want to go the route I stated earlier is I also currently have atleast about 1/3 throttle left when I am running.. Thats why I want to try a 30 & 32 Maximus 5 blade. I think it will possibly help me in 2 areas at once.. :) Jamie / Lakeside

I have already taken the internals into consideration before doing what we did. We have this pushed to the point where I feel comfy. I wouldnt go futher with boost than this on the stock internals (5-6psi) even though I had a larger heat exchanger made & we are cooling the oil thru an aux unit as well. So far strong cool runnings.. :)

Sounds Great D33! What is the static compression of the 496ho?

You push pro chargers in your ad, and your whippled, some how that seems counter productive, but hey," whatever works". good luck.

We do Whipple, Procharger & Blower shop.. The ad just happened to be one that had the procharger logo in it.. I on a personal note have my preferences as to which mfg's unit to use on certain engines & applications as well..

Blower shop on most basic carbed applications
Procharger for most of the SBC mpi mags & BBC mpi mags
Whipple for the 496 applications & some mpi mags
Whipple for upgrading blue motors..

We do on occasion do some other units, but again that's just my common preferences.. :) Jamie / Lakeside
