A stroker with on IO??
I have seen some big numbers from strokers and allisons I really like the looks of the 28 it looks like an alli running and they handle the chop good for a 20ft 900lbs hull.

That is a whole different story though,,,,,and off topic. To keep on track, I would really like to find out if there has even been a record set with a boat like this(28' vee/stern driven I/O)? I can guarantee you this,,,,,,,,there are no 28' vees out there running 95 mph with a 525!!!!!!!
A 28 Howard will run 89 with a 600sc. http://www.howardboats.com/boat_revi..._28_bullet.pdf

According to Hot boats - its the fastest 28 ever made, or was.....

That is truly an amazing accomplishment. You should take a stab at the record. Then you wouldn't be calling magazines for boat reviews.........., they would be calling you.

After reading my previous post, I should have been more clear at the end. I meant to say,,,,,,,,,Other than the Tuff28, there are no other 28 vee's out there running 95 mph,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I hate e-mail, it can be taken so many different ways. It was supposed to be a compliment

you mean w/ a 525, right?
i know the extreme29 is running 83 w/a 496magHO.
Would be interesting to see what it'd run w/ a 525efi.
thats one of the closest competition i can see to the 28Tuff, both being low slung hotrods.

You always throw your little digs in don't you? I've noticed you've tryed to pick apart Tuff's 28 a number of times with smart-azz comments: lack of cabin, pad bottom, haven't raced it yet, etc. etc. What is your deal? Are you jealous that this guys boat is gorgeous and fast and people are interested?

I know this is a forum (and like azz holes -we all have opinions), but geez. give the guy a break.

I know what you meant to say. I didn't take it bad, I just took it one step further in trying to find a good comparison with the 28 Tuff. And I agree 100% there are no other 28ft boats running 95mph on a single 525, although I would not want to be the one that test the boat on a windy day at 95mph.
