Best place to sell a 40' Carver

I have a friend on Grand Lake in Oklahoma that is trying to sell her 405 Carver. She has it listed on Boat.com, boattrader and craigslist. Is there a better place to advertise a boat like this? I told her to put it on OSO but it probably wouldn't drum up too much interest as this is a powerboat site. Thanks

Ugly Johns

www.lakepirateforums.com has a free classified section

Tell her to try boatcrazy.com, they advertise alot here in the midwest. I sold my boat through them this last January :(
Unless they've changed it was a one time fee for the listing and it stays on their site until the boat sells. Hope this helps

We are trying to sell our Bluewater and have used, boats.com, freshwaterboats.com, dallasboats4sale.com that have produced a few calls.
We are considering letting Marine Max or Ugly's broker it.

Later,

Fin

My Dad has a 50' Carver he is trying to sell. This boat is better maintained than my TG - and that's saying something!
His boat is literaly like new, but the sad part is: he is getting too old to keep it the way he wants. The boat is in SUCH good shape, the first person that is serious about THAT type of boat will certainly buy it.

I wish Dad could keep it as it keeps him doing something vs sitting in a chair . . . . . .
