Must do stuff in Key West

Going for the first time this year. Heard all about Fat Tuesdays, Sloppy Joes, and the Irish Pub. Any other cool places to check out? What about food, any suggestions?

Can't remember the name but there is a resturant where you can eat and have drinks on the roof. It's kind of a dress up place. Anyone know the name?

You're from Alpharetta so I am guessing you mean "Garden of Eden". Also known as NautiKitty's favorite place on Earth. :ernaehrung004:

My first time for the World's but been to KW many times. Hoping to get some pics , meet some new people & maybe a dive in on Fri a.m. if I can squeeze it in. One of my favorites is the Bull. Make sure you head to the Garden of Eden on the roof. That's where I prefer to be...lol. & Ricks of course. :party-smiley-048:

Kelly's on whitehead is a great, casual place to dine outdoors in a nice tropical garden with excellent food and Kelly's own micro-brewed beer.

Gotta do Ricks/Dirty Harry's, Hog's Breath, The Bull, Sloppy Joe's, Irish Kevin's......Garden of Eden is the rooftop of the Bull, it's clothing optional - good some nights, but very bad on other nights. (It's the only place on earth where I've had to have a conversation with a man with his cock in his hand while waiting for a drink  ).

Of course, there's the sunset festival on Mallory every night....can't miss it.

LOL,ask about the wreckers room. it is best not to make plans and just go where you feel like.the garden of eden always has naked people who should not be naked.......ever! one of my neighbors is a bartender there......and she's a beast. that being said, angelinas pizza at four a.m.(ricks/durty harry's complex)is good anytime.check out the view from turtle kraals tower bar(stay away from the fat guy with the flat top who thinks he owns the place and always accepts free beer) the dress up place might be the "roof top cafe" do not forget the "granite stairs saloon" and try to avoid the 800 block of duval. oh yeah try not to visit the" gray bar hotel":ernaehrung004:

Rent a pinki scooter, drink all night and then challenge cop cars to street races :). On second thought, I really SHOULDN"T recommend that should I :):)

ps, its easy to loose em if ya cut thru one of the open air market places where they make cigars and the like. Cop cars can't fit thru the door ways.

We were there in '04 for 6 days, one of the thing's we really wanted to see was the sunset - would you believe we didn't make it once. Guess that just gives me an excuse to go back - just not happening this year.

If it's your first time there, you're obligated to do the tourist things:
Southernmost Point,
0 Mile Marker,
Take a picture of the wild chickens running the streets.
Spend some time in Mallory, and listen to the street vendors rap and hand them a couple bucks. We met the "22 guy" when we were there, and he was actually pretty entertaining.
Buy something from one of the street vendors on Duval (just not the 800 block). The wife bought some baskets woven from the fallen palm leaves from the previous nights wind that some guy collected and made. It was pretty cool, I was BS'ing with him while he's making them, and he told me he was making well over 6 figure's just by weaving baskets and hats and crap out of fallen palm leaves.
Don't bother renting a car - scooter or walk it all depending on where you're staying.
It's a cool place - you'll have a blast!
