Keytime, did you get any more info about this boat? Did it turn out to be my buddy's old boat based on the info I gave you?
Just curious! |

Just curious! If this boat had a 24* dead rise and better rough water ride, I think it would make a nice first boat. But the LOTO main channel weekends might be a bit too rough. |

I think he went to the Bravo 3 to limit porpoising and to help it deal with the rougher water. Make sense?

A Bravo III really isn't going to help much with either of those problems. Trim tabs would have been a better solution. Good thing is a Bravo I can easily be bolted back on.
Does a boat like that need the big k-planes type of tabs? |

Just curious! "This boat was previously owned by James Gillpatrick. Apparently, he goes by Tony. He owns Hurricane Hydraulics at the Lake of the Ozarks. He said he bought the boat when it was a year old and we purchased from him at the beginning of this year. I don't know if it was called the "captain". It does not appear to have ever had a name on the back of the boat. It does have a full cover...I don't know that I would classify it as a custom cover though. Let us know if you have any other questions." |

Stryker/Sleekcraft
[QUOTE=Keytime;2327915]Anyone know much about these? My understanding is that the Stryker 28 hull is the same as this one.
I'm curious how they handle rough chop (LOTO) and how much that duoprop Bravo QUOTE] Do you have a picture of that boat? We purchased a 1990 28' sleekcraft in 2017 and it says Stryker on the interior and dash. We are in kansas. It's so weird how the title says sleekcraft but interior is Stryker. Can anyone explain that? |
This is a close friend of mine running his 2006 30ft SleekCraft Heritage MCOB with a Merc 525 and XR drive. It’s a real nice boat handles Lake Mead very well. I think he’s selling right now too.
