Survey on west coast of FL

I need a survey for insurance on my Cigarette 20'. Sarasota/Anna Maria Island area. Any recommendations? What should I expect to pay?

Thanks, Barry

Ed Cozzi. Anyone else and you're wasting your money. He's manic about thoroughness and is intimately familiar with all the little nuances of performance boats.

He just did a Cig 35 in Ft. Myers for me. I considered his charges a bargain. PM him- http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/member.php?u=48829

I've used Ed several times & he is awsome to deal with! I was even on the selling side once & he was very fair. The boat I was selling (38 Cigarette) broke down on the sea trial.

Another vote for Ed. Not only does he know performance boats but he really knows Cigs....

Only Ed--I have talked to Ed about helping me with a bunk survey I got and he is willing to give the time you need for whatever you need.

Survey

Guys I agree that Ed is a great guy, I've talked to him on the board several times. But isn't Ed over on the East coast? I've already owned the boat for 2-1/2 years and just need an inexpensive survey for insurance. I don't want to bring an F-16 to a BB gun battle, if you get the analogy.

Thanks, Barry

Call him. I don't think you'll get one for much less from someone local. As I said, he drove there for me and the price is less than I would have expected from a local guy.

Do you have Ed's phone number?

Thanks, Barry

I used Ed last year because I live in Indiana and was looking for someone to look at a boat in Fort Myers and his name was recomended and he did my survey. He is from Ft. Lauderdale but just call I'll bet if he can he"ll help you out. This is the numer I have for him (954) 527-1981

Bob Agle in Ft. Myers did a survey for me, so if you can't get Ed out there, Bob is an option. I think his survey was thorough, though potentially not all-inclusive, but was enough to give a yay/nay for the boat. If you need, I can give you his info.
