Wow, let's get personal and kill this whole discourse.

Buddy, suck it up and deal with it. If you prove your point you can gloat later. You have to admit it's been a long, tumultuous(?) ride with some of your ideas and plans.

Maybe you should both delete your punches so this thread doesn't get locked or get gone.

Yeah...What Cash Bar said.

This thread could have some merit to OSO members if we could leave out the childish nonsense.

Wow I got thrown into a mottley crowd for just not taking Griff's bet.

I agree with the above, just bring the product to market. Why debate it?

Personally I wonder why instead of a transmission someone doesn't come up with a drive with a constant speed prop setup instead but that's just me.

You know, this crap about what you can and cannot do because of the number of posts is getting old. I guess you have to have 1612 posts before you can be a smart a$$.

Makes ya think of the kid in the sand box that starts throwing sand. He knew he's out numbered and that by throwing sand he'd get a time out! I don't even know the dude but I spoke to Beau and Beau has a right to call him out!

We see a lot of controllable pitch applications in displacement hull and low speed planing applications, but I'm not sure if the physics is there for the demands of an offshore high speed setup. One problem I see right away is having props survive when you're airing them out.
