I understand, but I guess, at a certain point...
If I'm gonna spend upwards of 1/2 Mil on a boat, I don't expect to see sloppy caulk, and raw edges on the upholstery.
Not that I EVER forsee myself spending that kind of coin.
My point is more that, I won't even accept that kind of work on my 28 yr old boat as I work on it myself - I don't get how a builder thinks it's that impressive to send a boat to the show with a great concept, and flashy things and details that catch your eye, but pay no attention to the finest details, and the ultimate usabilty, and longevity of the product.
