Looking to get a mini this winter. Just kinda torn between an outboard and a jetboat. I would really like to get a mini cat for me, but a sea-doo type boat would be better for the girls to run around in.

WILDMAN 09-24-2008 10:34 PM

I just start painting and rigging this 13ft Paradise this week. It's a 2001 and never been rigged.

Built by Hi Tech marine in the 80s. Mine was owned by Betty. they had races for Cougar Cubs and Mini Hawks at all the big events back then. It runs right around 45 with a Bblades prop, 6 inch setback/trim and a 25 merc.

Wildman,

Beautiful work on that Paradise ! It floats really well with that motor too!

How does she feel with having the lower unit so low in the water ? I used to run a 20 inch inline 4 cyl on the Bullet and when too low the boat was reckless at certain speeds. I eventually ran the nose cone almost even with the pad and was much better handling.

I just got my last boat back this weekend:

Well I just aquired my newest boat in the fleet.

It's a whole 50 inches long and takes FOUR 7.2 batteries to run the twin screws on the back.:party-smiley-004:

I am in a deal right now for a Fantasy 13 and am also going to paint it the same as my Stinger so then I will have small, medium and large versions of the same boat!:food-smiley-007:
