Heard on Radio 78% of employers give today off.

I am in phone is slow and give me a chance to catch up on alot of paper work

We don't get off some of the other gov't observed holidays though. :(

I had a truck driver here yesterday (Thanksgiving Day) picking up a Mercedes, so I was here for an hour.

I'm in today but as klaw said the phones are slow and I'm only catching up paperwork and getting titles out....

I'm self employed and business has never been as slow as this year. I WISH I was working! :(

I'm in getting paperwork done too, the whole crew is on a commercial project that finishes in 17 days....they will be out tomorrow as well....but I'll be throwing them a hell of a Christmas party @ Mohegan Sun casino, food, booze, a little gambling money and rooms so no one has to drive home....I think that makes up for today!

I'm one of the unlucky ones and have to stay home, yesterday today, and a couple next week. :) Haven't decided yet when I'm going back in. Gotta go back to work sometime though, I got gov't job (boat parts) to make. ;)

......Getting a lot of paperwork done too.

Probably will peel out around noon.

Only had 3 phone calls today, and one was a wrong #

Busy weekend here with clients in from the cold.

Nothing to overwhelming though so it should be a great weekend.

I am working and already sold a boat today and an outboard motor. So i dont mind being here.

WORKING...........you guys are crazy, the only thing I am working on is a buzzzzzzz. Frozen drinks early in the AM are soooo good. Working on getting my food set up for tonight's party here at the house.

I feel sorry for those of you out there working today. I have worked one day out of the last 12, and I have to work more 12 more days the rest of the entire year from today on! God...I love my job!!!!!

I was in yesterday to send out some checks and bills. In today working on a project.

WORKING!!! All we need today is a 5 bike $15K day and it will be a great day. Throw in a boat deal, and i may take next week off!!!!

Worked yesterday and working today. Don't have to, but cant pass up the easy $$. I get paid regular time for both days whether I work or not. If I work I get an additional time and a half.

My boss is a D@#$ and rarely gives me an afternoon off much less a whole day. Even though I'm not compensated for it I sometimes have to work late into the evening and the idea of just a 40 hour week is a joke to this jerk. You can count the number of sick days I've taken in the last decade on two fingers.

My boss sucks too. Wait, I am the boss. We opened up for Christmas tree sales today. We had a very busy day. Looks like it is going to be a great season.

Well right now my head feels like I got hit by a truck running 80 MPH..........rough night, I think I should coulda woulda took my a$$ to work and I'd be feeling good this morning.
