Default Surface drive CC's?

I was going to post this on Anglersonly.com but the forum is loaded up with porn spam.

Who here has a CC with a surface drive setup?
I'm primarily interested in how clean the wake is at a 6 knot trolling speed.

Tuna, hoo, & whites
5 Knots is slowest for us & upto 15 with a high speed spread.

Wouldnt surface drives and fishing lines be a bad combination?

Might look into the Pulse Drive setup; but there are + and - to that setup.

I might suggest posting this in the Nor-Tech forum, or just go buy this boat...

I like the pulse drive set up.

What would be the downside?

Yes but no more than OB's - still a PIA.

One downside I see is the engines being in the boat at the transom so you'd have a large engine hatch to deal with or motor box on a single engine app.
So to add another question has anyone used jackshafts with surface or pulse drives?

Sorry about the link to a bravo boat. BBB725 hit the nail on the head with his pic. Need to have more coffee before posting....
