500 efi vs 525efi

Is there a difference from the 500efi cam to the 525 efi cam?
If so does anyone have the cam specs of each.
I currently have the 500efi cams and rebuilding the motors looking to replace the cams. Also they are blower motors.
Thanks

The 500 efi uses a Crane 169621 hyd roller cam. The 525 efi uses a Crane grind that is very simular to the 168741. The differance is that the 525 cam is ground of 114* vs the 168741 on 112*.

Cam cards for both can be downloaded from www.cranecams.com using the above part #s.

Gettinbye thanks for the information.
Do you think it's worth it to jump to the 525 cam in a blower efi set up. 525 cam looks to have more duration.

Would not hurt at all. The "741" cam has been used extensively in both naturally aspirated and blower applications. The stock 621 is also a decent grind. Like most anything else guess it depends on how much you want to spend! Do a search here on OSO and enjoy the read. Lots of info on here.
