Shipping Bravo Lower

What is the best way to ship a wounded bravo lower to Florida from Maryland?
How much does the vertical shaft stick up past the top of the lower housing?
Can I box it up and ship it via UPS?

Thanks
Shawn

UPS would probably work double boxed and packaged real good, but myself i would make a quick lil 1/2" plywood box screw it shut cut 2 handles in it and send it on its merry way . I've had bravo drives delivered to me UPS with a fork lift tire mark across the box and skegs broke of and destroyed with just a ins claim battle

Make a wooden box like Runnin said, can use a standard pallet as the base, add sides and a top.

easiest way is get a pallet, almost anyone will literally give you one. go to auto zone and buy some ratchet straps and strap it to the pallet.

For the best deal on truck rate shipping call (949) 955-0000 and ask for rebecca, I think they open from 7am Pacific time....tell her what you got and off it will go. They shipped a complete bravo assembly (complete drive, transom assembly, inner plate, and so on) for me for like $150 on a pallet

DHL has always been great for me. I have had problems with UPS getting stuff in one piece. Like a transmission last summer
