I believe that in NJ, if you buy at the gas dock, tax is not added to the pump price, so you're getting raped even more than you thought......what's gas tax in NJ these days? 12.5 cents?

In Nebraska, you can get a refund on the hwy road tax after, I think, the first $400 in tax. So basically there is no refund unless you burn a chitload of fuel.

Honestly I don't know what the tax is I know they sell off road diesel where I get fuel so you may be correct.May be why I was paying less than most last year ranged between $2.90 to $3.39 on the water

Connecticut refunds the fuel tax but then charges SALES TAX! So, you get $ . 25 (approx) back. Pretty simple form you can download from the CT DRS website

Where do you check to see about this refund? Or does anyone know if Ohio gets it?

In ILL our fuel supplier delivers 1000 gallons of 100 octane at a crack or we hit the airport fuel up the boat with 300 gallons and avoid the tax
