It took me 3 lights to get through the intersection of St Rd 84 and US 1, just to see everyone slowing down in front of Ft. Lauderdale Mercedes... And they were'nt looking at cars !! Boat looks GREAT !!!!! :D

long duck dong 11-26-2007 03:22 PM

Scott B 11-26-2007 05:23 PM

Not often your going to hear about that boat holding up traffic ;) ;) :D

LubeJobs42 11-26-2007 06:02 PM

Thank you! I went by today and they have it in a great spot. It's a very busy corner. It was definetly slowing up traffic. I hope Mercedes get what they are expecting out of it.

t500hps 11-26-2007 06:24 PM

Just don't take the GM for a ride.....with the 150 mph pass and god knows what crazy problem you guys encounter I'm sure it would turn him off!!! :D

wananewboat 11-27-2007 08:34 AM

Gino, what MB will you be getting out of the deal?:cool-smiley-011:

olredalert 11-27-2007 08:41 AM

-------Boat looks very cool there. We bought our 94 wagon at the Ft. Lauderdale store. That is the biggest M-B dealer I have ever seen. Must have been a couple of hundred AMGs. Up here your lucky to see an AMG M-B in the period of a week, much less an unbelieveable M-B cat!!!!!! Didnt the owners there have something to do with Auto Nation or something like that??????........Bill S

Downtown42 11-27-2007 07:35 PM

why don't the guy/owner buy it from you? chump change for him.

long duck dong 11-27-2007 09:17 PM

Well no wonder why it stoped up traffic......a HUGE boat laying half way on it's side is SURE to attract a few looks...

Looks BAD ASS if you ask me....

I'm pretty sure the original owner did own a Mercedes dealership.

Vinny P 11-28-2007 05:25 AM

Awesomw stuff there. But I have a stupid question I have never asked before. With these huge cats having to be towed on their side, what happens to all the fluids?? Oil, fuel, etc...

Vinny.........I think I remember reading in one of the magazines that they have systems on the boats (or possibly the trailers) that actually pump all the fluids out before tilting..............

Hi, First the engines are dry sump so the oil is in a sealed tank. The fuel vents are on 1 side of the boat so there are no fuel spills. Nothing has to be removed and nothing special has to be done. I guess you can say MTI's are manufactued "tilt friendly".

SWEET!! Interesting to learn that Gino........thanks......I do remember reading a while back though that some other brand Cats had to do a little bit of work before tilting.....maby they didn't have the dry sump motors.....................
