POWERBOAT P1 TV COVERAGE STARTS ON SPEED THIS WEEKEND!

We’ve been telling you about Powerboat P1 racing action for months—the great European race venues, professional sanctioning body, rough water, endurance races, fierce competition, excitement! Now, you can see it all for yourself on SPEED, starting Saturday, December 1 at 11 AM.

This first segment is a season preview, with future race shows airing on Sundays, starting Dec. 2 with the Maltese Grand Prix of the Sea season opener at 11 AM.

Each show will repeat on Monday at 9 AM, (on 12/3 there will be back-to-back recaps of the season preview and the season opener in Malta at 9 and 9:30 AM), so if you missed the Saturday or Sunday show and are at work on Monday, get your DVR’s going to save this action for future watching!

Powerboat P1 season ‘Speeds’ into North American homes
SPEED TV 2007 Powerboat P1 World Championship Broadcast Schedule

Sports fans throughout North America will have the opportunity to witness all of the thrills-and-spills, action-and-excitement and drama-and-suspense from the 2007 Powerboat P1 season when the World Championship is premiered on the Speed TV network.

Broadcast to over 70million homes in the United States and over 5million homes in Canada, Speed TV will commence its Powerboat P1 schedule with a Season Preview on Saturday 1st December at 11:00 AM (Eastern Time). The racing 'powers off' on Sunday 2nd December, at 11:00 AM (ET), when the high-speed craft line-up for the Maltese Grand Prix of the Sea. The full season of P1 action will then be shown at weekly intervals, taking a two-week break for the Christmas/New Year period, culminating in the 2007 Portuguese Grand Prix of the Sea on Sunday 20th January at 11:00 AM (ET).

The Speed TV audience will have plenty to cheer-on in what will, for many, be their first taste of Powerboat P1. American manufacturers crossed the Atlantic to compete in P1 for the very first time in 2007 with both Fountain Worldwide, powered by Ilmor Engines, and Outerlimits Powerboats, powered by Mercury Racing, enjoying considerable success. Other US--based companies represented in this highly competitive world class racing series include Hustler Powerboats, Donzi, Dragon Boats, Cummins and Sterling.

Cool can't wait to watch the races...I'm getting a little bored watching re-runs of "Pinks" all the time....they need to switch up the format a bit....
