oh I do not have a brass insert, the dart is a better intake and make better blocks too. I asked a few builders over the yrs. and my builder can get both but stated dart was better we are at 670hp now with a nickerson 1050 dom, with a BG carb we were at 647hp. for more tq go with the 4150 intake use a spacer2'' with the 4500 carb. nickerson art ps my cam is about the same size as yours but its a Isky cam. art
