SM does make great exhaust but do they actually make a replacement for the odd bolt pattern 525 ?

I'm not sure but being aluminum I bet the head can be drilled/tapped, I'd have to check.

Stellings makes by far the nicest headers.

Is the Stelling big tube straight back suitable for a 525 or is the port sizing off? The 525 headers are not stright back.

I personally think that is one of the best exhaust systems out there, besides KE's exhaust. If you boat in saltwater, they are the way to go, IMHO.

Owner of our Marina has an Epoxy 42OL. triple 525's.... He replaced his headers this past spring. Unfortunately they didn't pressure test the headers before winterizing the engine last year and subsequently had to replace the valve springs and do a full valve job on the heads.

What did he replace them with? Was he able to find a direct replacement that fit his tailpipes or did he need to get a new custom exhaust system.
