1 shaft, splined, coupler connects the lower to the upper vertical driveshaft.

Looks very straight forward. Kurt, thanks for the info. I now have 3" of spacer, so I think another inch might help getting on plane. The 5 blade Maximus prop is a Bravo prop? Smaller diamater and more pitch? I will take a good hard look @ Miami Boat Show.

Very nice! Looks to be as clean and simple as the other Konrad packages. From our experience I've found the Konrad kits to include everything and have explicit instructions for retro fit. This is no exception.

Yes, the Maximus is for a Bravo shaft. The Konrad unit runs a 1.25" prop shaft with an XR style hub kit.

See you in Miami!

Running box stock 4 blade Powertech 28's, we gained almost 2 mph while reducing prop slip from 22% to 15%
Definetely more to be had with a labbed for the application prop.

f311fr1,
The Maximus Prop can be had in a 15 5/8 diameter.
I'm hoping Santa brings a pair this year since I didn't get them last year:-(.
I know they will work well with my Konrad conversion that Doller Offshore did on our boat two winters ago.
Hope this helps.

Thanks all.

This boat started out with the propshaft 5.5" below the bottom of the boat. It is now 1.7" shorter, running 26 Hydromotive p5X's 74 MPH at 5400 RPM's.
The boat has great response getting on plane, and I will post the Stats with the Maximus as soon as we test. We estimate gaining another few MPH!
