I know where there was a 30" shaft 2000 250. Under 300 hrs, guy is unreal anal about maintenance.. He went to twins on the boat. Controls, gauges included, I think he was asking 3500 or so....

If its the one I am thinking of, one burned up, and the other is on Ebay right now for 3700, this one is rebuilt with a short warranty for less$$

The extra torque of the 3.0 liter should help the boat alot!

Hope so,

the 2.4 was a pig out of the hole, but kicked azz on the top end. I am sure I could have overcome the bad holeshot if I had enough time to set up properly before blowing it up. Everyone tells me the 3 liter has awesome low end torque, hope the top end throttle response is as good as the 2.4, it was amazing to give it a little throttle, and have it jump like that with just 200 HP. The other thing I am hoping is that with the actual alternator(60 amp I believe), I can now move the batteries up to the front for better weight transfer.
