Bad weather coming!!
 

I just heard we are expecting a cold front this week that will bring the temp down to upper 60's at night and only low 70's during the day. How will we deal with this?!! I hate winter in Fort Lauderdale! :D

It's here now in Windsor and we had about 9-12 inches of snow. For some that is nothing but if you hate winter it is to much. The wind is blowing and the snow is drifting. Good luck to all though's who get a lot more then a feet of snow and to those in the warmer temperature's, enjoy. 11:50 AM

Gino, we can always throw the windbreakers on and have a few drinks on the patio at Elbo room and talk about skimming across the 4-6 footers we see coming in on the beach !!:D:D

It's getting cold over here as well. I think its about 67 or 68 degrees. I think I have a pair of socks somwhere in the closet.:D

Well today I snow blowed my driveway. Just as I finished I went over to do my neighbors driveway and guess what. Hear come the plows and burry me again. So back over to my driveway and blow it out again and over to my neighbors and you guessed it the plows!!!! I did my driveway no less then 6 times and finally gave up!!! I was about to moon the plow guys but figured that would not work to my advantage!!!

Wear pants! That's what I do WAY up here in the north!!! Also, you should drink! :drink: It will help keep you warm.

You should really feel for us up here in Orlando! I mean, I'll have to wear a long sleeve too! Oh well, at least my N/A motor makes more HP!!!!:D

Boxy well said it looks the same hear. I paid the local kids 3 times in 2 days to clean it up. Guess what there on there way over again! Yes this sucks I'm going to have to head south to the condo real soon and maybe hit Gino up for a boat ride LOL.:D

Bunch of thin skinned floridians!!!:D Its 40 degrees and raining here and I still go out with a t-shirt on. Granted I don't stay out there for hours but long enough for the dog to get his business done.

I'm with Gino, it was terrible to go out to breakfast this morning with tshirt jeans and flip flops! What will we do this week with temps in the 60's - time to turn the heat on!

Being from Buffalo, i actually DO miss the snow storms, especially when the only means of transportation were snowmobiles!

I got a good taste of the front Gino was referring to. About 6 this morning, my weather warning radio went off three times in 20 minutes, with tornado warnings. I stayed up, listening to the the thunder, and one I thought must have been very close, because I felt my house shake. Just before daylight, I walked in my dining room, and couldn't see out of it, because two big branched off the oak tree next to the canal had blown off, and landed on my house. It was still dark, I couldn't find a flashlight, so I didn't know if it hurt my house or not. Turns out, just the tops hit my roof, and one shingle was damaged. My BBQ grill was wiped out though. :(

My neighbor, Pete, came over and cut the tree out. I was afraid he'd have the tree fall on him, it was in a very bad position.

I had to tie my four wheeler to the tree with one of my dock lines, and pull the main part that was holding it up, while Pete used the chain saw on it.

After we got the tree down, I had to run an errand, when I got home, my other neighbor, Brady, was coming across the road with a ladder and a blower strapped to his back.

I couldn't ask for better neighbors!:cool-smiley-011:

Btw, the power was out for six hours.:(

Good to see all the smoke has cleared although not sure how you can tell the difference btwn that and the smog :D:D

G, I believe it may actually be colder south of you.. We had to wear long sleeves on the motorcycles today...

Poodle, it was 91 here yesterday, and supposed to get down to 39 tonight.:eek:

LOL......it's early winter. It is dry, but green is just around the corner!

Dam Gino I'll be over in a few we have to winterize the motors:eek::D:evilb::drink:

We'll be about 20 degrees warmer here tonight.. Heats on in the house, but I think I'm riding the scooter to work tomorrow... :drink:

The forecasters lied about 39. It's 38 now, and I'm sure it will drop a couple more degrees before it starts warming.:(
