Thumbs up

After leasing a BMW 330ci I got myself into an MB CLK55 AMG. I don't have any experience with the CL55, but assuming it's like any of their other cars it's pricey to fix & gets a lot of looks. Rides nice too. Go test drive it yourself & formulate your own opinions.
Happy Shopping!
Dan

I sold my 04 Cl55AMG early this year, pretty nice driver, good power and brakes for a heavy ride.I had zero problems with mine.
Keep in mind it is really a two seater as the rear seats are only good for small children, zero leg room.
The price on these cars dropped like a rock as I paid 124k in 05 and sold for 70k .With that being said you will get a lot of car for the money in the pre owned market.
Good Luck!

Awesome car. We've had a few. We don't have one in stock now; only have a '04 CL500. www.mercedeshowroom.com For a 2001 CL55 You're probably looking around $30-35k for a low mileage one. If you would consider a S55 I have an 02 coming in with 35k miles.

Try to find an 03 or newer AMG car. The HP got a major shot in the arm in 03 with the kompressor AMG versions. I think an 01-02 CL 55 had about 380HP and the 03 and newer got 493 HP.

YEP!!!!!! I had an '03 CL55AMG for nearly four years and traded it in just before the lease was up. That car is built very well, very fast and very impressive! I bet quite a few are hitting dealerships now with 4-year '03 leases ending. Loved that car, looked very nice and was hard on tires.

There are lots of bells and whistles......so personally, I wouldn't want to own one after the warranty was up.

I drove Norts ()....Thing is VERY fast!! And very nice.

I personally like the S55 just because it's a little more classy and roomy in my opinion.
