The first one has already hit the water. It has Merc 700/NXT. Not sure of the exact speed, but it was around 105 mph. Still got some tweaking to do. I have a customer going to see and drive the boat just after the first so I will have more info on it then. Eddie

The boat is a slightly streched Slingshot, but the biggest thing is that it will accept #6's. The Slingshot is such a low profile boat that you really can't put #6's on it. That is the reason you see so many with Arneson's, not that there is anything wrong with an Arneson(sorry Ric) Should start to see some with some BIG power now. They have also changed from 2 big steps to 5 or 6 small steps. Boat should handle much better. It will also lose some of it's natural lift so it should be more stable over 100 mph. All of that lift was great in a 500 or 525 boat, but caused some handling problems over 100.

It's got a way to go to catch the 39' Velocity...........Velocity's website says that it's 39' runs 115mph with the 700's!!! That's very impressive.

I wonder if they will do one with 525efi and #6's? Then I could Whipple it

Eddie have you heard if it has a cabin like the 388' or is it like a 42 Fountain poker run version hull?
