News article re: Jan. 07 Marco Island crash

Sad to read that the dad and daughter are not getting along now.
:( It's gotta be so hard to accept the loss of so many family members - the pain has got to be incredible. Hope they come to realize how much they need each other.

Jennifur's relationship with her dad has been strained for a long time. She was very close with her mom, sister and brother who were all lost in that tragic accident.
She is living with her grandmother and is doing remarkable well for a young girl who has suffered so much loss.
She is enrolled in Edison College, starting her second semester. Her tuition and books have been paid out of funds raised by the good hearted people of OSO. She did excellent in the first semester getting straight A 's with a 4.0 GPA. She has a great desire to make something of her life and has greatly appreciated our support.:D

This tragedy is what brought me to OSO.

Glad to hear she is doing so well.

It is a sad story.......glad to hear she is doing well in school.

I wonder what the alterations were made on the boat that they say caused the integrity of the hull? All they mention in the article was "someone" changing engines and drives. There must be more to the story than we all know.

Looks like the lawyers dug and dug, and finally sniffed out a deep pocket to sue. Sad story all around, but looks like an accident......

Sad. :( I would like to know more on the hull also. What freaks me out is that boat was on my list when I was looking for one.

ps- my statement has nothing to do with disrespecting this tragedy or loss of life; when I asked the same type of questions about this and the 33 PP that "slammed into a wave and broke apart" at the KW Worlds 1995 killing Pepe Fereria ; I was BBQ'ed OSO style over it...

RIP

This site is a great source of knowlegde and making friends, what SUCKS is that if you make a "critic" about certain boat manufacturers, the owners of those boats here on OSO act like little whining (defending) *****es........always happens!!!!!!! :(
