Anything under 40 is just wasting time and money, he should buy my 50. I could saw 12 feet off the front if it must be shorter.

Cool, cause he likes Fountain's, he just wants to make sure it's better than those Active Thunder boats, he just wants to know why..Racing...but are they better than those OuterLimits boats???

I don't think you need to have the best boat in the world just to go pleasure boating because they are all good. So I would look for the one that is the best price and has the power and amenities what you want for pleasure boating. It doesn't matter whether it is an Active Thunder, Fountain, Sonic, Eliminator, Sunsation, Outer Limits, Cigarette, etc. For pleasure boating, they are all great and it comes down to the best price. Why Fountain for racing? If you want to win and that is what Racing is all about then you should pick a Fountain. They have proven themselves on the Race Course and have won more races then anyother offshore powerboat in history. You buy a boat for the type of boating that you want to do, Pleasure/Racing.
