Best 35-40 foot Center Console 150-300k

Been looking hard at some lightly used CC's . I like the 36 Deep impact, the 37 & 39 Midnights, 370 cuddy Intrepids, and Donzi 38 ZFX . Wan't to go 65-75 mph with 3-4 250-350 hp engines.

Are there any other high end ones in my price range I am missing. NO FOUNTAINS. Want to stick to outboards.

I live on the want and will hardly ever tow so beam isn't a problem.

Lapse, how do you plan on using this center console boat? I know you say NO FOUNTAINS...but... there is nothing on the water that will give you the performance of speed and fuel mileage of a 38TE Fountain. My 38TE weight around 13,000 lbs with some fuel and will get better speed and fuel mileage than boats 1/2 it weight with twins! It rides the rough awesome too.

You say you want to go 70 with triples...count out the Donzi 38ZF it is low 60's, The Midnights need quads to hit mid 60's and forget about an Intrepid if you need some speed...that is just not what they are for.

The boats you mentioned all have a good sized beam of 9.6' or better. Keep this in mind when looking at CC's as some 36' CC's are very narrow and lack the room of other CC's. 35' to 40' CC is a vast difference in size!

Also as a CC owner make darn sure what ever CC you get that it is SELF BAILING since you keep the boat on the water and out in the elements or you will be buying batteries all the time as the bildge pumps will run and run and run when it rains.
Have fun CC's are AWESOME!

I would say 10% fishing 10% diving 80% hanging out. I know the Fountains are fast but when you look at a Deep Impact, Intrepid, or Midnight Express the fit and finsh is worth 15 mph to me over the Fountain.
I have not been on the Donzi yet but I think you are mixing up the ZFX & ZSF I like the ZFX I am not looking for a boat to overnight in.
The Midnight & Intrepid should do 60-65 with tripp 250-300 hp's, The Deep Impact 68-72 with 250-300 hp, the Donzi should do 70-75 with tripp 300's, and they are in my range new or demo models now with the 300's on them. I would perfer to stick with four strokes. I will be loading it up or buying loaded with Gen, A/C, 3-4 Batt., big sound sys, hooka dive comp.ect, ect,

I like all the seating you can get on the models I listed, I know there are a lot of good one's more for just fishing like the Yellowfinn, I just don't fish that much and don't need or want all the open space.

Sea-Trial the 37 Midnight. Its wider then the others but as fast. It also runs flatter. It would be awesome with trip 350's.

Warbird had a Midnight Express for sale that had two sets of McLeod bolsters and quads. That looked like one of the nicest cc's I have seen. The problem with some cc's is that the seating for the driver is not comfortable, you always seem to be reaching for the controls.
