Sunglasses: What lens color?

What color lens are reccommended for sunglasses used to pilot a go-fast boat?

I boat on the Saint Lawrence River and use a GPS plotter with a black & white screen.

Dark Grey for bright light conditions; Amber for low light conditions.

I like the chrome mirror tent. That way the chicks can't tell what I'm really looking at :cool-smiley-011:

I like a gray/blue mirror from Costa up there...especially since most of my time is spent looking at shoals and water colors and not at the plotter. Brother likes an amber/brown...I won't touch them. Test the glasses with the plotter...they like to "cancel" each other out.

And there is a difference; buy GOOD glasses. Brad.

I'm very happy with the gray Maui Jims that I use . A quality polarised lens and with the Titanium wire frames they fit real close so the wind doesn't get behind them .

I like my polarized Oaklies. They wrap fairly tight so the chance of blowing off isn't as great. And, the lense quality seems good.
