I guess I can't rationalize why someone with a $100K boat would buy a $20 cover at walmart to protect it from the elements...

Even a full canvas....with the rain, sleet, snow etc..the canvas starts to retain water then when the wind blows it cracks the canvas...

If shrink wrap is done right, 90% of the elements just roll right off... I even wrap mine with the hatch open and with nice big poles with a decent size door on the side so I can get in and work on it over the winter. I call it Fort Apache....

Build a garage. Doesn't have to cost a lot. I put up one at my old house for my 31 sonic for $6K. Steel Arch type. New house has an 1800 sq foot garage, what a luxury. Had it less than a year, already wish it was bigger!

No doubt Garage's are good as long as you have the land or have friendly property tax laws.

Brad

It's for sale at usedboats.com http://usedboats.com/powerboats/1982...10/1403713.htm

I figured I would get laughed off OSO if I listed it here.

I completely rigged a 46 Skater with two 557 PSI
Blower motors under a blue top all winter.

It was 20 outside and 60 inside when sunny.

I used blankets on the bow points two protect from
chafing.

My neighbors called me the boy in the blue bubble.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

I Do more damage around the docks.:D
