we have built several Sea Doo RXP's that run over 90 mph on GPS, we are currently working on a Sea Doo RXP with a single Garrett Turbo that will run over 90mph, around 91-94 on GPS, I love this part of the business modifing 4 stroke jetskis is great fun and rewarding.

Thats amazing you can insure it for hardly nothing.! 150 + in a 40 cat try 1800 a month.Some fu*k up country we live in. My skater would be over 350 mph at the same scale speed and with no chance of falling of the seat at wot. :D

F that I have been throw off my POS Kawasaki's at 55 and it hurt like hell or a stand up at 40. My buddy has a RXP with about 5g's in it and it runs around 85 and is like being blasted in the face with a fire hose. I rode it once and lost a $100 pair of glasses.

40mph on a stand-up is probably scarier than 89.4 on that thing. :D

That is STUPID FAST for a jet ski!!!!

The 1300R Yamaha is a 2 stroke. What an amazing feat! Having problems with the grates cracking and blowing out at speed. Most are "super-manning" at that speed, so you have no chance when something happens.

till death do us part !! good a couple deaths and that will be the end of that sport or hassle for many !!

I would hate to fall off that thing at WFO.

Plus you have little to no control when your off the power.

Sea Doo has the 08 model with 255 Super Charged Hp , up from 07 models with 215

I fell off my x-wife one time going WFO, there again she was an earlier model - no dmage done

The 2008 Sea Doo RXP/ RXT X models have 255hp, But they are slower then last years Models, they just accelerate faster, if we change the impeller and scoop grate it will be over 75 mph on GPS right out of the box.

I new HSR will run between 80-86 on GPS, but the price of the PWC is 26,000 for just the ski, and it is a Kawasaki Hull, but it is a bad ass ski.

I'm going to get a couple of new 07 RXP 215 Hp sleds later this week - warranty is 1 year - I have no reason to go slow and save gas - do you have a biz that makes these go faster ? is the new 255 Hp version injectors and ecm mod ?

Kitten - not beating up on the X -she was an older model- she did have mods - she was fast - and she "waxed" herself - can't find a PWC at any price that will do that - smooth is important -

The new Sea Doo 255hp motor is basicly the same as the 215hp motor, except for larger injectors, ECU, Exhaust system, Intercooler, Supercharger, Valves and camshaft, Thier will plenty of 215hp's and 255 hps Sea Doo's made. The 255hp RXT-X runs 67.5 on GPS and the RXP- X runs 69.4, same #'s as the 07 Sea Doo 215 hp RXP, and RXT. If you change the impeller and scoop grate you will see the speed #'s for the HP. As for Riva they are coming out with some good stuff this Summer:cool-smiley-026:

Man its amazing how far they have come. I remember when I was into it 70 used to be the ultimate mark. These things are just bad a$$ now. I might have to get another one.:D

Glen is a great guy, never met him in person but I buy everything for my sea-doos there. We have a 2003 GTX SC, 2005 RXP both stock and a 2004XP DI with a full level 1 kit, worx grate, worx sponsons, PPG trued ride plate, Jet trim seat cover, hydroturf mats, custom decals, Nujet tweaked prop for top end and solas tweaked for low end. Ski does about 66mph with the new jet and is a blast to ride!

there was one ski posted years back it was a black hull that was a shaped like a picklefork hydro in the front.
