Try Derrebery performance in Texas I just bought a longblock 502 from them and they seemed very reasonable. The service was good and the extra parts I asked for were there and right.

I just took 2 in on trade that I will soon rebuild. I can sell them as longblocks with intakes.

They were actually closed cooling. Blocks have seen nothing but antifreeze.
