We spent a week in Tamarindo; and actually had pretty good Internet service.

Tamarindo is a sweet little town! Spent a little time there and then drove around the Nicoya Penninsula to the car ferry to Pintarenas. Spent some time around Jaco and all the way down the west coast. Also went up to Arenal and Monteverde, F the rain forest, it rains too much!

We rented 4 scooters for what 2 cars would have cost; but we were looking for an "experience" so we took them over to Playa Conchal, and rode them up and down the beach.
We took a boat over to Playa Grande from Playa Tamarindo. That's an awesome desolate beach. In the afternoon, the tide was so low that we were able to wade back to Playa Tamarindo.

It was a blast. We'll go back someday.

Can't be too sure, but the 2nd pic may have been Ratman. :D That pig was at LEAST 700 lbs; and was a PET!

Yep, we'll be back there soon.
