What Type Of Options Do You all Have On your Boats?
What options do you all have on your boat? Want to see what the majority of you have for creature comforts. Thanks.
Big Stereo. About all I need!!!!
As for non-creature comforts, big tabs, drive shower, big oil cooler, etc... |
I went for the whole kit and kabootle on my new thunder, A/C, refridge, flat screen tv and vcr, micro, vacu flush head, and generator. :) :)
Thanks Waterfoul, How have you been? Have not talked to you for a while. Had a good summer. Can't wait till spring breaks. The stereo is a must.

That is kinda the way I am leaning. Just taking a poll. May order soon and want to see what you folks have and also how much you actually use the stuff. Wife definately wants a real head with vacu-flush. May stop by the Thunder Factory when I am at the Miami Boat show. I really like the 37..

Too Old, Sounds cool. Wind and Motor. Seats are a must.
Honestly, I've never even listened to the radio. I admit to turning it on once-just to see if it worked and never touched it again. The one won't even have a radio. I just love the sound of the exhaust that much. :D
BIG MOTORS ,LOUD EXHAUST !!! :D
Oh yeah , I think it has a cabin . |
Thanks Cord, My current boat has a freshwater system on board for the transom shower and sink. It has never been filled or used. Most of our runs are round trip in the 200 miles or less range and normally only last a day. Next year we are looking at some overnighters. Wonder how much the Auxiliary systems are used on boats that have them.

ALPINE STEREO. 200 WATT AMP. 4 SPEAKERS. SUB WOOFER, 3 DISK CD CHANGER, REMOTE. TV, POWER INVERTER WITH PLUGS FOR ****. GPS, DEPTH, MAPPING SYSTEM.
  :D :D |
Thanks Nick, How is the weather out there?
Troutly, Have you ever needed A/C and a Generator? Thanks for the feedback.
We had a discussion about the carry on model with a few of the HRPA members the other day. Donzi offers the A/C and Genset on there 33 models. I was on a 38ZX with there A/C at the Annapolis boat show. We had 8 people in the cuddy and the damn thing nearly froze us out. I think the Genset if you have all the options would be handy as well. Thanks.
Bob, you aske me the other day what options I had, but wanted to look to confirm everything. Here goes:
Stainless Foot rest (pass) Full Hydraulic Steering (Std w/ 496HO's) Tilt helm Sea Strainers Gaffrig Clock Upgraded audio system Pull up cleats Transom shower Macerator Vacuflush A/c & Heat Hour Meters Presure water & sink Hot / cold shower Weekend Pack (microwave, shore power, batt charger, refridge) Competition Pak (Gaffrig red line gauges, quick & quiet, leather momo wheel, bezels, cockpit carpet, stainless rubrail, colored shifter) level 2 graphics extra color in graphics bidet :D . . . . not! |
Not much in the way of extra creature comforts (most of this is standard, I think) -
cockpit carpet fresh water sink porta-potti el-cheapo stereo electric bolsters cup holders in cockpit and cabin Other stuff - Latham steering trim-in-the-wheel Gaffrig gauges w/purple bezels drive shower drive nose cone K-planes docking lights Silent Choice matching Myco trailer Custom Sunbrella hull cover |
I would not order the stereo from the Factory, if you want a great stereo do it yourself or a custom shop.
I usually keep three to four double breasted seat covers....... :D :D :D :D :D
Clothing is an option I my boat!
Thanks for the info folks. Looks like the most of you have some options on your boat. The other half just goes for the performance only aspect. Tuff decisions. Out of the options you have which ones do you feel is most critical? Thanks,
My boat comes with a crew with brains that are optional. Last year one of the guys goes to throw my $125.oo anchor out without making certain it was tied to anything.
Goodbye anchor.....  |
G-Force, That is a good one. I have had those types of things happen as well. You just have to laugh, crack another beverage, and keep on truckin'. Thanks, LMFAO
Thanks for the responses and feedback. Tuff decisions made easy with OSO members.
A pair of super chargers to be put on this winter and most of the stuff in the cabin is coming out stereo will be all thet is left in the cabin I do have lots of guages.
YOU GOT GAUGES?
Marine Machine external steering
BIG K planes All the important gauges Halon system Most efficient use of reliable horsepower Custom exhaust Custom bolsters Lab prop dual kill switches No stereo No potty No windshield No AC Just performance |
Silent Choice. A must have.
NICKSLICK, No dive tank holders? Where do you put the tanks? :D :D :D ;)
D2, yeah, my next boat, I want a real crapper, with a magazine rack. That way, my two desires will be satisfied, boating and pooping.
We've got the usual Fountain stuff, but I can see next go round I'd want ac/heat. And my one beef with Fountains is so many 32's do not have shorepower. I look like a redneck stringing my orange extension cord into the cockpit. Yeee Haaawwww, ya'll wanna come in fur some chitlins? |
I tie the tanks down over the engine hatch...
The bouncing sound they make assures me they havent fallen off the back of the boat... further, when I catch really really big air, I can measure how high I got by the time span between when they hit again... Besides, if my boat ever catches on fire, the resulting explosive force of 3750LBS per square inch of nitrox will surely "blow" the fire out...   :D :D :D |
