Header lifespan
Looking for a little insight on what the lifespan of true headers in a 100% salt water enviorment would be. With proper flushing after each run.
A bit more specific, factory headers on a 525, or a 500efi, how many years will they last before removal for inspection & or replacement? Second part of the question.... Would it be better to just run a "dry exhaust" to extend the lifespan? I know there are many factors with this, but I'm looking for an average more than anything. |

Dry exhaust won't be any different, the header is still jacketed the same way as wet. Only diff is the end is welded up and the water is exited through a different hole. |

Not sure what the life span would be, it depends if the motors are flushed after every run.

That definetly answers my concerns... |
