See if you like this one?

This is from a camera mounted on one of the fastest classes. It was mounted in front of the drivers side rollbar to give people the impression of actually racing the boat. The camera was set just above the drivers eyes. You see what he sees during a race. This was taken during an upriver leg to boot.

COOL!!
Makes me want to look for an old jet boat to restore to take out on Lake Michigan when we get one of those Bass boat days.:cool-smiley-011:

I'm sure you would turn more then a few heads with the turn o the motor. We took our family boat out on a lake in Northern California that has the same motor as the SBFX class. The boats not real fancy looking just a plain white boat with water cooled exhaust. I woulndn't think you could get very far with open headers on a lake. All of those boats can be heard from a pretty good distance. They do run baffles in their exhaust too. To go to a race a watch is like watching Nascar on the river. We seem to be drawing bigger crowds each year. Racers come from as far away as Colorado,Washington,Idaho,Canada, and of course Northern California and Oregon.
