Boat Loan Rates

I have just been "browsing boats" and interest rates on boat loans, 20 year notes.
I am a 792 credit score.
Who has gotten what recently, I know dealers who use the same lenders over time get great rates, I am at 5.2% from a 2004 loan of 100K that started at 7% but I would not close the deal at that rate, and bam, as it usually happens (last 2 boats) I got a better rate vice walking on the deal.

I am curious if anyone has borrowed in the last 90 days and what rate they got.

Thanks
Bryan

I borrowed in December for the boat - Got 7.25%. I did see rates at around 4-5% but that was for boat loans in excess of 100K.

7.25, borrowing next week

I got 7.25 in June. Rates are still about the same. My ficos are about the same as yours. I suspect in your financing through the dealers that they bought down the rate.

I would post in the Insurance and Finance section for info from actual lenders.

Bryan, are you coming to the Chill-Out this weekend? We can chat about it.

Right now we have a bank that will do as low as 6.75% with credit score and HP restrictions. For bigger HP you we can be as low as 6.99%. Call me on my cell if you have any specific questions.

What kind of credit score is required for the 6.75%?
