Towing Hustler 388/Cadallac
 

Saw the stupidest thing in Colonial Heights Va yeasterday. Someone was towing a 388 Hustler with a Cadallac SUV. Crazy!!

What's wrong with that?

If the hitch fits on the ball, it's OK, right?

I once was laughing at a ramp when a guy was towing a boat with a Honda, Until I thought . HEY! At least he is going boating :p

It's crazy what people do. I want to go from a 3500 srw to a drw set up for additional safety and that fool is pulling a comparable sized boat with the equivalent to a 1/2 ton.

No chit, and it snowed here yesterday then turned to rain, and he was getting on interstate 95 !!!!!!!!!!!

Its not that bad towing with a small SUV,On mine the all time 4wheel drive does help at the ramp,the worst part was drilling out the hitch for the 2 5/16 ball with the 1 1/4 shank:(

I do have to watch the tounge weight,if I load to much stuff in the tool boxes on the trailer, it makes it a little hairy when I get up to 70mph on long trips

Do you have to change into a skirt when you drive that Honda?

Strip, we towed our 388 F-2 once with an F250 SRW and got passed by a box ambulance doing 80, almost blew us off the road! Your CRAZY!!!

I saw that boat going down 95 South Yesterday. He was rolling down the road even with the weather like it was. I thought it was crazy also!!

I have a buddy that tows his 42 Fountain with a 2500 Avalanche every weekend with it

Hey I tow my 35 Fountain on a triple axle trailer with a S10 pickup, i have to turn off the ac when i merge on the highway though

Not really ,just when we go up North and run into some snow,kinda like how a snake moves,Were not use to it here in Mississippi,I need more experance towing in the snow before I tow with the boat full of gas.

I don't see the problem. As long as it is a 4x4 and you turn the A/C off going up hills....its all good.

Also I cant tow it with the full cover .it catches air under it and creates drag
