If you want to paint your mti to match that one another 50k

Just looking at it a little different I guess.

I wish i could find a tilt trailer 30k .

Me too.

Hey I'll even take one of those MTI's for $250k with small motors, as long as it has the #6's and nice paint on it like that on had.:hitfan:

That's what I thought.
But 120 MPH sounds a bit low for that boat.

30K for a tilt trailer.... Ummm.... Last I saw you were looking at around 70K for a tilt trailer.
Not that I'll ever be in the market for one.

I always like watching the auction, but I still say the same thing - these people are amazed to see a car go for 80-120K, and at the same time, there are guys here on the board that are spending double that on boats every day.
I need a better job to keep up with this hobby.

One of the guys on the block last night put it best, you dont bring a knife to a gunfight and you shouldnt auction a boat at a car auction..... I feel for the owner, thats a hell of a bath he took.

open87 01-20-2008 10:49 AM

no way i can afford the insurance on that boat..

but was it a private party that put it up for auction or was it owned by a company affiliated with the movie people??

would it just be a write off then?

example-
to make a movie they will destroy 5 100k cars just to get the right shot..

Exactly what I was thinking. Wrong place, wrong time.
That rig went cheap. :(

I mean, that stupid monster truck robot thing fetched 575K.
